Keno is a game of chance with a rich and illustrious history. The game that we know and love has experienced incredible alterations since its initial inception. Gaming historians have followed its roots as far back as 200 B.C. to a Chinese style of diversion referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a well-documented fact that a style of keno was played in a bingo-like configuration on the eastern seaboard right about the time of the massive Chinese arrival during the gold rush.

In its contemporary form, keno is a bit like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card comes with 80 numbers and the player is able to choose as many as he or she would like. This is done by circling or otherwise marking the numbers with a pencil. As soon as the bettor has checked off the numbers, he or she must bring the card back to the cashier at the keno stand. The cashier will then issue a ticket after marking down the player’s numbers. It is the responsibility of the gambler to trade in any winning ticket before the next round begins, so stragglers must keep alert.

Now that we’ve covered some of of keno’s captivating history and basic rules of game play, you’re almost certainly chomping at the bit to find out where you can wager on keno on the net. And that is just a reasonable thing for an aspiring keno gambler. To be sure, you have many possibilities to choose from when it comes to some big-time internet keno excitement with all the excitement you aspire to.
