Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It’s typically seen as a lottery in the casino. Like the lottery, the game consists of numbers being selected. The object is to select the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can be either fast or slow depending on the casino. By playing Keno on the web you can control the speed of the game. Personally, I like live keno. You sit in a lounge, if you want, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you do not have to be in the lounge to play and win. For example, you could put in a ticket for 20 games and then head off to compete in something else in the casino or even your suite if you are staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is wagered on on a game board. The Keno board is made up of eighty total numbers – number one though eighty. The top forty are referred to as the top half and the bottom forty are called the bottom portion.

Competing in Keno

Every round of Keno plays out the same. The round commences, and 20 numbers are picked. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong like balls are sucked up and chosen, exactly like the lottery on television. Some other casinos utilize computers. If a number you checked is selected, that is called a "hit." When all twenty numbers are selected, the round ends and winning tickets are cashed-in.

There is an abundance of diversity in the game of Keno. For example, you could select one number, 2 numbers and so forth-up to twenty numbers. As a rule, you have to get a majority of your numbers to come away with anything. For instance, if you pick six numbers, you will usually have to get three to earn your cash back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are fairly high. The chances of winning is based on the total numbers checked. For example, if you pick 2 numbers, you have a six percent probability of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own pay outs. If you are playing on the internet, be sure you look all over for the best pay outs first.
