Keno Tactics That Make Money

It will not usually be thought of as the most lucrative game in the realm of gambling, but keno has loads of devout admirers. And so it should! It’s a regularly thrilling lottery-ish game that’s a snap to master, abundantly available in several alternate formats, and one that might yield mega-dollars for people who learn its innumerable subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the basic rules for now.
When describing keno to newbies, some gaming masters compare it to the lottery. This is at least to some extent apt, in that each game is basically numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far can be to underrate the innumerable unique aspect that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to select the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is furnished with an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as she wants. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your selected numbers with a ordinarymarker like you used back in the day.
Once you have checked your numbers, take your card back to the keno pit manager at the keno stand. The clerk will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning receipt on you, you will collect precisely $.00 for your actions.
OK, so there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us get on to something a tiny bit more complex, shall we?
After you’ve picked out your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on a monitor. That’s where the winning numbers are shown for all to see. If you picked winners, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to dilly dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and a new keno game will almost certainly start within a few minutes.
Strategy #2: always go back to the keno stand on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to beat that 5 minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty slips. When the maximum number of keno games (matching the number of tickets) is finished, you can then get off your lazy bum and go get your winnings.
Another choice is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which commonly lets you make number choices for thirty keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take all the time in the world and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
And now you have learned a handful of indispensable schemes for winning keno. If you are an adept keno player, they may seem stupidly obvious. Still, it will never hurt to brush up on the basics, and if you are a beginner player, every bit of advice will help make your keno experience more entertaining.
