However, to carry that comparison too far would be to underrate the good many unique traits that make keno so fun. Not like bingo, keno users have the ability to choose the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the user is accord an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as numerous (or as few) numbers as he needs. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a good oldmarker like you had back in school.
Once you have checked your numbers, take the game card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The nice person will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your face and wants help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will be given exactly $.00 for your efforts.
Ok, there you have strategy #1: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let us advance to something a tiny bit more advanced, yes?
Once you’ve picked your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the video monitor. That’s where the winning numbers are displayed for all to see. If you picked winners, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to dilly dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, since a new drawing will surely start up within a few minutes.

Assuming you don’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to 20 slips. When the max amount of rounds (fitting the number of tickets) is finished, you will then be able to get off your lazy rump and go retrieve your winnings.
Yet an additional choice is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which generally lets you make number choices for 30 keno rounds or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
And now you have learned a handful of necessary schemes for winning keno. If you are a good user, they may appear to be quite obvious. But it won’t hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a novice gambler, every bit of information will help make your keno betting more fun.
