Keno is a game of pure luck and is very similar to Lotto games. The game was brought over to the US of A by Chinese immigrants in the 19th aeon. As with lottery games, it’s a dead easy to play, and it is endearing as large prizes are offered for very tiny bets. Keno is enjoyed at saloons, clubs and civic center all over the planet today. Unfortunately it shares another weakness with lottery games – horrible odds.

Logically, Keno ensconced its way into online casinos as it was a simple game to create, and online casino operators wanted to ensnare the large land based Keno players online. What was even more in the favor of casinos on the internet was that many people were accustomed to playing Keno on video screens, so the move on to the internet was hardly a hurdle than say with twenty-one.

So here is how you play Keno. You start off by choosing between four and 10 numbers from a total of eighty numbers. Each choice is called a "spot". In many online keno games, you can buy different tickets for the same draw, and in a few games you can even pre purchase for future games.

After you have submitted your selection, twenty balls with numbers will "enter" into a capsule from a tube. If enough of your numbers are selected, you win. That is all there is. You will obviously come away with more, if more of your spots come up, like with lottos.

Most keno online games allow you to purchase cards between 5c and 5 dollars, and pay out in multiples of your card value. Jackpot winnings of up to $50 000 are not uncommon.

Easy? Yes. So there should be a catch? Yes. The casino edge with Keno is 30% or higher, the WORST of any internet casino game. The expectation of landing on a number is 0.25%. Keno is by a wide margin the awful game you can possibly play. If you are seeking a game of luck wager on slot machines.
